What do you use as a jewelry box?

Standard jewelry boxes don’t really seem to work for the type of jewelry that’s in style now. I have tons of large bracelets and big and very long necklaces. What can I use to keep these organized? Right now I have all of my necklaces hanging together on a corner of a bathroom shelf unit. It works fine, but it’s a pain when I want to wear a necklace that’s on the bottom of the stack. Same with the bracelets. I have one of those hand-shaped ring holders for my rings.
