Here are some more information for Morning Sickness Relief:

Pregnancy is a time of great joy for most every expectant mother. Unfortunately, there are sometimes side effects that can take away from that joy and cause discomfort and unpleasantness. If you are an expectant mother with morning sickness, you need some safe solutions for morning sickness relief.
The percentage of women who experience morning sickness during pregnancy ranges from about 50 to 90 percent. There are some very fortunate women who never have any problems with nausea and vomiting throughout their entire pregnancy. All the other pregnant women who do have morning sickness would love to know why.
Pregnancy is a time when women need to take very good care of themselves. They need to eat healthy foods, avoid certain medications, take vitamins, and maintain their health. That is a very difficult thing to do when you feel nauseous and sick.
While the condition is called morning sickness, it is not restricted to the morning only and can occur at anytime throughout the day or night. Be sure during your pregnancy to keep your doctor informed of your experiences. It is helpful to keep a daily diary so you can jot down notes about: how you felt that day; what you ate; vitamins or medications you took; smells and foods that affected you negatively.
Your doctor is your best solution for morning sickness relief. There are some things you can try that may help ward off the nausea, though, in the meantime. Here are a few of them:
o If a specific food bothers you, simply avoid it. I had a friend who loved tomatoes and ate them regularly — UNTIL she got pregnant. After that, the sight, smell, or thought of a tomato nauseated her. Her husband was very understanding about it, and they just stopped buying tomatoes at the grocery store. After she had her baby, the problem disappeared and she resumed eating tomatoes.
o Do not skip meals. You are eating for two, so be sure to think of the baby as well as yourself. If you find it difficult to eat something, try bland soda crackers, dry cereal, instant breakfast such as Carnation, a slice of bland buttered toast, or a piece of fruit.
o Get plenty of rest. There is evidence that not getting enough rest is associated with increased morning sickness.
o Listen to your cravings. Don’t be embarrassed to ask for pickles and ice cream, cookies and orange juice, pizza and yogurt, or any other odd combination. Your body is speaking to you — so listen.
o Drink fluids throughout the day. Try to avoid sugary drinks and opt for healthier alternatives such as water with lemon, unsweetened decaffeinated iced tea, or a natural juice not loaded with sugar.
o Do not take vitamins on an empty stomach. If you feel like your prenatal vitamins are part of your nausea problem, discuss it with your doctor so he can recommend alternative options.
Being pregnant is such a wonderful and happy experience. You want to enjoy every minute of it as possible while you wait for your blessed baby to arrive. Pay attention to your instincts, and don’t be afraid to discuss things with your doctor, no matter how insignificant or trivial they may seem.
There is morning sickness relief. Be sure to discuss everything with your caregiver, and remember there are helpful solutions for the discomfort and unpleasantness often associated with pregnancy. It is strongly advised to check with your doctor before taking any over the counter medications for morning sickness.

Morning Sickness Relief – Do What You’ve Got To Do To Feel Better
With all of the bad things you’ve probably heard (or experienced) about morning sickness, I’m sure you could use some positive news for a change. Morning sickness relief can be achieved. The only problem is that you’ll have to decide what’s best for you based on all of the choices there are available.
I think it would be helpful for you to know a little information about the condition you are experiencing before we get into detail about the methods of relief.
Pregnancy vomiting and nausea (a more accurate name for what you are going through) affects 88 percent of pregnant women. I know, it’s pretty hard to dodge a bullet like that. Depending on how far along you are, you are probably experiencing nausea and vomiting. If you are one of the lucky ones, you probably feel worse in the morning than any other time of the day.
If you are one of the extremely unlucky (we’re talking 1 in 300), you might be experiencing extreme morning sickness, or hyperemesis gravidarum. This is where you are unable to keep anything in your stomach because you are vomiting so much.
If you are in this boat, you need to seek medical attention immediately. The weight loss and dehydration that accompany this condition are extremely dangerous for not only you, but your unborn child, as well. Any of the treatments discussed in this article are not meant for you, and should not be considered.
For those of you with mild to moderate symptoms of morning sickness, your options for relief range from the conventional, to the unconventional. Labeling treatments conventional vs. unconventional probably isn’t appropriate because what is unconventional to some, might be conventional to others, and vice versa.
Your first technique for relief is avoidance. Sounds easy, doesn’t it? It’s not as easy as you think. Many of you lead lives outside of the realm of your pregnancy. (big shocker, I know), and because of this, avoiding the triggers of your nausea and vomiting will be extremely difficult.
You can’t tell the guy that gets on the elevator with you at work that he has to get off because his cologne is making you sick. You can’t ask the chefs at the restaurant you are dining in to stop preparing the filets in the kitchen. You can’t get each and every person you come across on the street to wear more deodorant to mask the body odor emanating from them.
All of those scenarios are out of your control, so don’t even try to change them. Just be sure to avoid triggering smells as much as possible and it will help your symptoms, even if it’s just a little bit.
Now, on to some real treatments.
Your first option is medication. This would be considered “conventional” by most because it is a treatment that is prescribed by your doctor. She could possibly prescribe a combination of vitamin B6 and doxylamine, which seems to be the most common anti-nausea and vomiting medication.
Many women fear that taking any kind of medication will harm their unborn child. This is an entirely legitimate concern. My philosophy: if you’re afraid it will harm your child, don’t take it. You have enough to worry about without adding that anxiety on top of everything else.
One alternative to the “conventional” route is acupuncture. A licensed Acupuncturist places small needles (they’re more like flexible pins) in designated areas on your body. Correct placement of the needles is essential to relief, so it is important to have it done by someone experienced in this form of medicine.
Another alternative is acupressure, which is acupuncture without the needles. It involves deep pressure in areas similar to those you’d have pins placed in acupuncture. If your symptoms are more on the mild side, this will probably be an effective treatment for you. If your nausea and vomiting are more moderate, you will probably have to go with the acupuncture.
Morning sickness relief is available for you, but you need to decide if the conventional route is right for you, or whether you are more of an alternative medicine type of person. Either way, test them out and used whatever method fits you and gives you the most relief.

any relief for morning sickness
?
I am about two months pregnant, and i feel like i’m fighting a constant wave of nausea. i don’t actually get sick, but its a very uncomfortable way to feel all day long. This is my first baby, so i was wondering if any one had any ideas on how i could help ease this unpleasant side effect of an otherwise joyous occasion! Thanks so much
Well what helped for me was just to eat, if i was the least bit hungry i’d have the worst nausea. I ate crackers, and peanut butter, that seemed to help me alot. Sometimes this is something that you just can’t cure without time, good luck
