3.    Tell the people close to you that they should call911or other     urgent situation services if you become sleepy or unconscious.
4.    Severe cases of hypoglycemia may require hospitalization. You may be given extra glucose in a vein (intravenously) until your blood sugar level is stable in the normal range. This could take several days, depending on the cause.
Home remedies for Diabetes and Lower Blood Sugar
1. Boil 15 fresh Mango leaves in 1 glass of water. Leave overnight. Filter this water and drink first thing in the morning. It is an effective home remedy for diabetes
2. Mix 1/2 teaspoon of position bay leaf and 1/2 teaspoon turmeric in 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel. Take this mixture two times a day before lunch and dinner. It is also good diabetes mellitus treatments.

7 Dandelion root is an excellent source of calcium and supports the pancreas and liver.
8 Gudmar (Gymnema sylvestre), an Ayurvedic herb, suppresses the intestinal absorption of saccharides, which prevents blood sugar fluctuations.

Why are my cat’s back legs starting to seize up/paralyse?

She is 6 years old. Vet said he would have assumed twice that! She has always carried her tail horizontally but now her back legs appear to be seizing up slightly. She can jump onto the sofa but has to manouvere herself to lie down She doesnt appear to be able to sit in the classic Egyptian cat pose and tips forward when going to toilet. Occasionally she opens mouth and it locks.Xrays show no spinal injury or deterioration.Comprehensive blood tests show a slightly raised sugar level(not high enough to be diabetes)a slightly raised globulin level(could indicate infection) liver and kidney function good. She hasnt got feline aids or leukemia. Blood pressure excellent. Anti inflammatory injection – no effect. Steroid injection – no effect (but did give her the sneezes for 3 days). Now on antibiotics but so far no effect. It isnt a blood clot. Next step is MRI scan but its all getting very expensive with no answers. She is happy in herself but gets very stressed going to vets. Any ideas?

My cat had something like that when he was 2 years old. His back legs suddenly became really weak so hat he kinda dragged them using his front legs to walk. He could not jump. X-rays showed no physical injuries. Vet was also stumped. Now I know what caused it: calcium deficiency. I was feeding my cat mostly human tuna becuase where we lived back then, there was no regular supply of cat food. Fortunately, this kind of thing is reversable. On a “hunch” my vet prescibed calcium supplementation. It worked. My cat went back to normal in the space of a month. I sure hope this is all that’s wrong with your kitty. Ask the vet if he thinks it could be calcium deficiency.
